In a post COVID pandemic world, the last thing anyone is thinking about is visiting a retail store in 2021. T-Mobile, our legacy WONGDOODY client, approached us to help make it OK to visit their San Francisco store and celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year in a fun way .

The catch? Make it engaging, fun and, of course, safe!

Our CX, UX and UI teams put their heads together to create the Lunar New Year Ox experience. An AR scavenger hunt, we employed the latest in Metaverse technology to captivate consumers. We sketched the concept, pitched it and began employing various artists in the Bay.

Those artists designed numerous Ox creations (listed below); we only used three. Then, we manufactured various QR codes that, once zapped in the SF store, would unlock a virtual OX in the retail footprint. T-Mobile was so inspired by the AR OX solution, we were asked again to do another AR moment for T-Mobile Pride 2021.
